Ohlins with motocorse bracket. No regrets. Looks the part too.

I have a Gubellini which at the time cost me about 60% of the Ohlins.
MV now offer it with the MV Agusta logo as a less expensive alternative to their Ohlins unit.

I know this is heresy, but due to budgetary constraints I am using a GPR. Mostly because I already had the unit and just needed the mounting bracket. Not the most stylish, but it is functional. I may eventually move to a linear style damper, but the GPR is a less expensive way to get a damper.

I will be using my F3 mostly for track riding, and I am guessing my lap times don't really care what my damper looks like

MotoCorse steering damper bracket in conjunction with a 'good' but 'used' short Ohlins 68mm. I bought off eBay for £102.

The whole deal cost me less than £325 for my F3/800

Any ÷hlins 65-68 mm stroke will suffice, just keep looking on eBay they do come along regularly.

'At least it''ll be a full race Ohlins not like the 'bread and butter' ones fitted as standard to the earlier F4'

Why the fuck MV couldn't put one on as standard fitment I'll never know, clearly the bike needs one, I actually found it quite dangerous without one as the front end is so 'excitable'
