I must be a wuss because even though the bars flap a bit occasionally I still don't feel I need a damper. Have to try harder......

the movement is easily managed, but all racing orgs in the US require a damper to pass tech.

Late to the party but this is the Matris Racing Damper. Little more costly than the Ohlins but the adjustability and construction are unmatched.

I cut my lower support bolts as well (41-42 mm from the bottom of the bolt head for a final length). I also took about 4mm off the center pivot bolt that goes through the upper support. It was way too close to the lower support during steering motions. I love the damper though. Good price, great features and appearance. Did you happen to provide any feedback on the bolt lengths to Matris?

Yes, I've been talking with them and they are sending new ones so hopefully they update them
