GOPro/RAM mount

I was out riding today and I was asked about the RAM mounts. It was such a great solution post by MSquared. So it thought I would repost in case someone might be looking for something like this.

Posted by M Squared

The 1” RAM Ball Mount I chose is from Composimo Fabrications, 'cuz I preferred the silver color:
>~$13.00
>Part Number CMO_5_0400_6mm, 6mm bolt included [for a Dragster])
>Universal 1" Billet BALLMount - 6mm Bolt

The alternate / ‘official’ RAM Ball Mount is black:
>~$11.00
>Part Number RAM-B-367U, which “employs an 8mm bolt or smaller” / you’ll need to purchase a 6mm bolt for a Dragster)

The RAM “Universal X-Grip Holder” is available in different sizes to accommodate your device (I used their “Tablet” size:
>~$36.00
>Part Number RAM-HOL-UN8BU)

A RAM tether adds a second layer of security:
>~$4.00
>Part Number RAM-HOL-UN7TU)

'Hope this helps... if you'd like additional images, just let me know. Enjoy!

Yours,
M Squared

Photos of your setup? I’ve got a RAM mount that originates from the ignition cover using just the CNC base of a steering dampener. Works like a charm.

Very nice. Just bought a dual ball base (RAM-B-217-1U) to do much of the same. Excited to run the camera in parallel to the phone (music, GPS, etc.)

Couldnt tell which, but one of the bikes didnt have a terribly healthy start. I dont know much about ducatis, but if that was yours, I'd get that looked at before your sprag clutch gets knackered

Good catch. I had forgotten about that. It was not my Dragster. It was my friends Multistrada 1260 in the beginning of video. He had a weak battery because he left his devices on while we stopped for a while. His GPS, Radar detector and other things. It was fine once he charged it up.

Techmount fitted for TomTom navigator, can change to the GoPro by fitting the smaller ball.

Necessary to move the clutch fixing slightly towards the centre

Bruce, what’s that OK/SET selector you’ve got?
