MPG Dragster RR answer..

All,

I rode my Dragster RR until low gas came on. The answer is range 125 miles on main tank, 3.5 gallons to fill for average MPG of about 36. Not sure how big reserve is. But, now I know. This is my typical Gulf Coast, TX riding habits and roads and speeds. Pretty thirsty engine compared to my Moto Guzzi V7 III Special averaging 65 MPG.

YMMV, EOM.

On longer trips I can go up to 150 miles without running out of gas although I do carry spare fuel with me just in case...The after market air filter (DNA hi-performance) seemed to increase my range, I have never actually checked the MPG because, I am lazy like that or in a hurry to go nowhere...I think your 36 MPG is pretty close for hot rodding but it will do a lot better on long freeway romps..Im ready to get off the bike after 100 miles and staying on this seat for 150 miles is rough but I have done it several times..

If your phone isn't ringing..it's probably me!...

After 2 months, 4 400 miles, 32 tankfuls
each time drowning the inverted Merc's sign in the tank
about same averages precisely the same volume but a bit better 38 MPG.

150 miles on a Dragster tank before the reserve light?

Hasn't happened.
Och
mebbe 600 mi rides aren't long enough.

Or in Nagorno-Macronistan 150 miles downhill with strong tailwinds and sparse or no traffic isn't that easy to find.

I am right there with you, overall average mpg is 34.9 over 4,720 miles.
Light comes on between 120 and 125 miles. I have only gotten about 140 miles to fumes.

I went over 150 miles on my saddlesore 1000 ride after being on the seat for 18 hours of a 22 hour ride.. Im using the okie cruise control (throttle lock) glued in at around 75-83 m.p.h. it runs smoother @83 than it does @80 for some reason it's happy at that speed...I cant go 150 miles when Im riding in the mountains these are freeway miles only. Im going to San Francisco sunday maybe I will check it just for the heck of it...
esq'z me likes this.

I consistently see 32-33MPG with my no Rs dragster. The light comes on ~100 miles. The most I've flogged out of a tank was 124. I was worried.
