Recommendations

Just got a new to me 2015 dragster rr. It came outfitted with all the rizoma stuff and carbon fiber as well as the fm slip on exhaust. Looking for recommendations on things to look out for, and important upgrades. Two first things on my list would be ecu flash, and I would love a recommendation on a stand. Thanks everyone!

Another random question, I circled the radiator trim in the attached photo, they are quite easy to move around. Is this normal?
New owner here so apologizes if I'm being a tad neurotic.

iirc, there are 3 fixing points. One behind indicator, seen in photo. The other 2 are on one bracket behind wheel on outer part of rad.

Past experience has taught me that the 2 bolts on the rad give it it's stiffness.

In saying that it definitely does flex a bit. But just check to see that you have all the bolts.

Also, super high priority!!! Get a rad guard, you will not regret it one bit

Agree, get a radiator guard.... one of the best upgrades for these bikes especially if you ride chip-sealed gravel type roads.

Pitbull makes some great quality rear stands, that is what I have for my 2018 Dragster RR.

Enjoy!

take those rear pegs off

not a fan of crash bungs but i guess that's a personal thing

only thing that fell off mine in 12k (miles) is the chain guard as only held on by tiny screw

the hoses going between the forks can rub & wear to so give them a check over to

just enjoy!

Check the sprag clutch. If you have issue starting and it ends with a loud clack that’s it.

Check the rear hub/entire stack for any side to side motion. If it’s moving something might be up.

Check the tank to ensure it isn’t swelling. Easiest way to tell is look at the steering damper from the gas tank fuel door and look at the ends of the steering damper. If one is closer to the tank = swelling.

Check the connector that holds the clutch cable to the radiator. It’s a weak piece of plastic that will snap at some point.

Outside of that ride the piss out of it. She likes it that way.

This is what happens when I get a new bike, I start thinking everything is a problem on it! Now I cant stop looking at the gas tank mainly because the previous owner left gas in it for awhile.
