2019 Brutale RC race kit ecu

Does anyone here happen to know if the ecu that comes in the race kit with the new RCs has the map installed that would allow me to remove cat and exhaust valve. Reason I ask is I'd like to install the evolution titanium header along with the SC pipe that comes in the kit and not sure if this is possible without throwing a code.

I installed an Euro 3 manifold together with a QD exhaust with baffles in and MWR Air Filter.
In this configuration the Race Mapping already was running lean. If you have ECUstudio we can share my Mapping.

I'd be pretty pissed off if the race ECU didn't have appropriate maps for the (provided) header and pipe.

It really doesn't have good maps. It simply deactivates the lambda sensor and it might enrichen some aspects of the fueling, but overall, the bike should be tuned on a dyno.

The brutale RCs only come with the pipe and ecu, the header I'd like to use is the evolution bike. Looks like the only o2/lambda is in front of the cat, so shouldn't be a problem catless, as for the exhaust valve could just leave the servo plugged in. I'd think that the ecu in the kit has maps optimized for the cat and valve. I see ecu studio in my future. If I go this route probably no reason to even install the race ecu could just flash the race map to the stock ecu and tune from there.

Hey cherche, may I ask if that b3 header you used was a stock unit w/cat or aftermarket catless? And thank you very much for the offer to share maps, I may very well be interested in taking you up on that. I might be able to find a local place w/dyno, I'm sure they will probably have no experience w/ ecu studio.

I used an OEM Euro 3 manifold as the pipes are 40 mm in diameter, Euro 4 is 35 mm (30% less flow area)
Here you see the Brutale Euro 3 and 4 manifolds plus a F3 one:

Police checks you that you have the cat installed here in Germany . With no cat your bike will run even leaner than mine...

The MV race mapping has the exhaust valve and O2 sensor disabled.

Here you see my airbox mod with MWR filters installed (very big difference in diameter and flow area):

Here is a vid on how ECUstudio works (very easy to use):

Hope that helps you.

Thanks for the info, was wondering if the O2 and exhaust valve were disabled in the mv race tune, it's strange that on the evolution bike page the mv corse race ecu they sell says to be careful because it uses the lamda/O2. Must be a different ecu.

I think you will find that it does not use the lambda sensor, as an active adjustment to the fueling, but will throw an error if the lambda sensor is not present.
