Dragster Bar End mirrors

Reading some old threads (2016 or so) on replacing Dragster bar end mirrors and it appears it's not so easy given the slotted ends that appear to be part of the handle bars and are not removable.

I assume same hold true on newer, 18+ models? Anyone know?

Also curious in this.. I had to pull both mirrors off yesterday and use my drill to tighten them back up as they were blowing closed while riding. It appears there was a definite design flaw as they used metal on metal to hold the mirrors in place.

It’s an easy fix. I bought Rizoma reverse retros and use a combo of their spacers and some cut plastic sheets to allow the mirrors a good grip on the slotted bar contacts. Then I bought flat bar ends, believe they came from Triumph. Easy install and solved the Dumbo ears issue with my dragster.

I assume the same is for the new models.
