Absolutely stunning bike mate, I wish you good health to enjoy it. A week of good weather on its way apparently

last year it was high 20's, low 30's all summer, hopefully the same this year, cops are only on main biker routes, mainly one route via loch earnhead, most other roads are free,

Love the bike btw.

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

FYI - "R" is rain mode , not Race mode. MV's race mode is under "S" which is Sport.

Yep my mistake;
Bike has always been in Sport, I just got in a way of calling it race for some reason

I have only ridden it in Sport, apart from 10 miles in standard, even in heavy rain and hail stones the bike was no problem the way it is set up now, town riding was fine too

so for the run in period I am happy keeping it set at

SPORT (I said race)
TC 3
ABS 1

I am very happy with how it is set up above, and am not going to dabble away trying different set ups at this moment.

Would love more comments and views on this, what are peoples opinions of rain mode and other options?
what is the preferred set up many have?

Custom mode is the way to go.
Set every engine setting there is to your liking.

If this thread, posts and pics of the Pirelli Dragster are offensive, please let me know and I will stop posting pics of the bike, it appears I am getting a shit load of abuse, I am happy to delete pics if they offend

if this thread offends, please tell me why it offends, I have had a fair amount of likes for those pics, but it seems a select few are unhappy,
in saying that no one has mailed me direct or attempted to speak to me direct with regards to this post.

Maybe the complaints came from the guys at St. Andrews Golf Course that were concentrating to tee-off when you hammered down the road with that Dragster

I liked the pics...

Huh? What could be offensive? The only emotions I could see arising from this thread are those of jealousy!

It's a magnificent bike and one that most members (I think) would be proud to show their support - as many have done.

There's a touch of irony in the suggestion that pics might be offensive, for how many times do we read in the intro section: 'We love pics.'!!
