Dragster: Sato Racing ‘Hooks’ / Pillion Peg Elimination

Hey MV’ers,

If you removed your Dragster’s passenger pegs, you probably noticed that there aren’t any rear tie-down points (should your bike need transport). With this in mind, 'thought you might be interested in Sato Racing’s “Hooks”... inobtrusive, functional, lightweight, and easy to install.

Cheers!

These are a very good product and used extensively on Honda Fireblades with pillion pegs removed. As with the Honda variants, I suspect the two small holes allow for the pillion pegs/hangars to be re-fitted as and when required.

Nice!
Anyone fit them on a Brutale 10< ?
Looks like this version might fit the same configuration.

@Edward: If the holes are the same spacing, yes.

Hi Nigelrb,

Yes, a very good product! However the two small holes are not for attaching the pillion pegs / hangers… (‘am guessing they assist with the machining of the ‘Hooks’).

As for the Sato Racing Hooks for Honda Fireblades (CBR1000RR’s), they manufacture two versions: one to use with pegs, one to use without pegs. However, neither of these versions work with Honda’s ‘SP’ model of the ‘Blade, because this model has a dedicated monoposta subframe (is not tapped for pillion pegs).

With best regards,
M Squared
