The design is for a Friction Fit. As you snug them up, you expand a rubber o-ring against the frame hole to which the plug is fitted.

I have these on my Monster project bike and they remain steadfast after many miles of riding.

Do not glue them in place....you would regret that immensely.

anyone have some photos to share of these frame plugs? I'd like to do this to my RC, but not sure how the machined red would match up to the red frame, and not sure I'd want to do black or machined.

Ill take a picture when i get home. They arent a brilliant match to be honest. They're a darker red

There you go. I didnt have much faith in the friction fitting but i was out on it all weekend and they're all still there.

Awesome man, appreciate it! I kind of figured they wouldn’t match up, but it doesn’t look bad. I’ll probably end up choosing the black or marchined though.

Not sure they are supposed to be a perfect match and completely blend in

Well I've got the bungs and the matching bar ends/ lever guard and i think they look fine. I think they look better than the black certainly
