Some advice needed

I've had my bike for 3 weeks now and went for my first proper ride today - 400km. What a load of fun! But man can the wind pound on you. On the way back we had a pretty strong headwind and it's got me thinking about a windscreen. Any recommendations or advice?

Excellent question: is there an add-on fly screen out there that helps? I had one on my old Triumph Triple-- major reduction wind blast. The MV is better out of the box than the Triumph, but above 80 mph with a head wind...pretty breezy. An aerodynamic helmet like my Shoei 1200 helps.

Hi lucydad, pretty breezy indeed, at 170km/h plus, felt like the wind was trying to lift me off the bike hahaha. I have a Bell Qualifier DXL helmet, which is pretty aerodynamic, but there's nowhere to hide from the wind on the Brutale. It's not an issue on short rides, but on a long ride, all that fighting the wind takes a toll, I'm pretty stiff this morning... And the bugs! I was covered when I got home. All worth it though, that was a seriously fun ride! I'd be very interested to know what's available out there in terms of flyscreeens - that doesn't take away from the looks of the bike too much...

think the trouble with a flyscreen will be it'll only divert from chest to face.
