Euro4 running LEDs

So. I'd love to have my brutale LEDs running instead of the regular old headlight during the day. The only time I can see the LEDs is when the ignition is on but the engine isn't running. This seems a bit useless considering who just leaves their bike on without charging the battery? Anyone know how to change this? Is this some American law? I know I've seen this bike being reviewed with only it's LED running when the bike is running!

Thanks
Dylan

Yes, it is an American law. Are you in the USofA? It is hard to tell when folks don't put at least a hemispherical reference in their profile.

I do believe, since the 70s, it has been federal law. Always on headlight for motorcycles. That is why Daytime Running Lights are a rotten idea on cars. They defeat the purpose of the Always On law for motorcycles.

Can't help but think MV should've used running LEDs that would've worked in the US market. Just another italian quirk I suppose.

This also bothers me, I'm not sure if you can buy the Euro assembly for the right side handlebar and have it work. I'm not really willing to risk wasting $200 or so to test that theory out.

I believe the assembly required is not the handlebar assembly. For the TV, the different part is a connector. There is one for EUR and one for Japan, US, Canada. Check the wiring parts.

I did contact them when I got my bike, but never got a call back regarding that issue. I attached a screenshot of the right handlebar assembly, #3 has a switch on the front of it which I believe enables the bottom section of the LED ring for the DRL function.
