Dragster bar ends

Hey guys, have had a look around at a few threads trying to firm up a solution. Wondering what you guys do/have done for bar ends and mirrors?

Ive bought a set of rizomas and was told according to the shop’s info the bar ends I needed should work but were “untested”. They have turned up and I can tell you they will not work….

I think I saw someone mention having the threaded OEM bar ends drilled out should work but aside from that I cant dig up much more info.

Thanks in advance, appreciate any info you might have.

EDIT, just found another thread saying they are not permanently affixed and can be backed out, im confused now...

Yeah not sure here, they appear to be inserted ends, but I heated them up and put a fair amount and still wouldn't back out.... No idea here

If you take a look at the partslist it looks like the bars and bar end is one piece.

Quick update, while I'm pretty sure they are glued in I am not comfortable applying any mor torque trying to get them to let go.
I emailed mv and got a response to the effect of take it to my dealer. Spoke to a few dealers and found one that reckons he's done these before and the stock bar ends do NOT come out and new mirrors need to be mounted on them.
So.... Given that rizoma doesn't have a confirmed adaptor/shim set for this model and the stock ones that come with the mirror don't fit, I went down to Bunnings and bough some clear soft plastic sheet, think they call it industrial table cloth, I got 1 mm thick(moving forward would try .5mm) and used that as well as one of the stock rizoma shims to make it work.
only other problem i have is bar end caps now, has anyone got suggestions, somthing similar to this but looking for 35mm ideally.

can grab some photos for anyone interested.

i have some rizoma bar ends which screw onto the existing slotted bar end. Once tightened, this leaves a space between the rizoma bar ends and the actual bars...enough for bar end mirrors to clamp on.

Got a photo CHD?

I ended up grabbing some triumph end caps for now, not perfect but cleans things up a bit. Just need to go get a bolt that will sit flush with them too

How do these compare to the OEM mirrors?
