Up grade dragster steering damper

I have posted here in the past regarding my dragster rr CRC steering damper and it poor functionality. So here is a fairly cheep fix. Buy a used ohlims unit from an F4, use the original headstock connecting bar but dremal out a bit of the material as shown in picture and fit as standard unit. I now have a fully adjustable damper for 130.

My original damper has very little difference in the resistance for hard to soft setting and will not control a head shake under hard acceleration.

kk cool. I saw your other thread about your damper, hope it all works fine now.

Was just reading through an old thread you may find useful:

http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...ght=head+shake

You've sorted your suspension now so maybe your damper was in fact dodgy

Took the bike out for the first time since fitting the ohlims damper, and the bike is now transformed into a great rideable bit of kit, now loving the bike so much.
