Toni´s tail tidy option

Hi folks,

keeping in mind the trouble of Bruce with the MV-Corse tail tidy, I´ve tried to make a solution by myself. It should be simple, light, short and nice-looking ;-)
The bracket is a one-piece sheet metal. The OEM indicators look a bit huge don´t they?. Above the plate there is enough space for reflector and plate number-light.

Comments and reviews welcome...

Ok, my home built tail tidy project is obsolete... ;-)

Today when I was at my dealers garage I´ve seen another F3 with a nice tidy equipped with Kellermann Dark Rhombus LED indicators...

Now I´m happy with this nice arrangement. I love this tiny, sweet ass of the F3...
If I could only shrink this f...ing giant number plate...

EASY - come to Australia Soon we will loose that stupid rounded blue sticker you can see. It will be even better then. Btw those blinkers have the original extensions in - we did it to see how they looked & looked crap so we took them off

I know a lot of people on here freak out about showing a number plate on the net BUT hey don't people see it everytime that I am on the road

Uuups, this looks really dreadful ;-)
But you may win 1st place in contest "The widest MV F3"

In our town the number plate has to be at least 220mm (width), other cities in Germany allow 180mm...

Cheers
Toni

Yes it is Bruce - cut down, as our plates are smaller than yours. I have made the my dealer and the Australian importer aware of the two failures in England. They did thank me and I guess will now await a company response. We haven't had any in Australia (yet?).

It will be also interesting to see what happens with a smaller plate, I will keep a VERY close eye on it and see how it plays out. I don't know if that changes the vibration frequency and the point of where it converges - which has been identical on both yours & Paul's.

I'll keep a close eye on your thread, that's for sure.

Cheers
Rob

I'm not sure that the size of the plate would make that much difference, what surprised me was the weight of the tail tidy (453 grams) and the thickness of the steel mounting plate only 3mm. It will be interesting as to what response I get from MV Corse.
New R&G tail tidy is being fitted today.

Would you please add some pics of the R&G part?
Or start a R&G thread... :-)
Thx

Edit: No longer needed: I´ve just seen it on the R&G HP :-)
