You've got to love her ....

Since i'm skipping the 2012 motorcycle season i have some time to decide which colour to choose.
Numberous times i sat here at my computer with only 2 pics on the screen. The black and red/silver version.
Up till yesterday evening i still wasn't sure which way to go.
I'm a big racing fan and follow World Superbikes in particular.

So here i sat, staring at my screen.
The wife asked me what i was wandering about.
"Honey, she said, you have allways had Ducati Superbikes and what was/is the racing colour from Ducati? Right.
And what's the racing colour from MV Agusta?
You're an idiot if you not take the F3 in it's true racing colours!
Look at it, that bike just asks to be in red/silver."

I had to admit she had it right (again)....

I have a red/silver bike on order, but there's another part of me that says I need to paint this bike another color scheme entirely, to create something different from the norm. Maybe I'll keep the stock bodywork and buy some Sharkskinz once they are available. We'll see.

I have a red and silver and everyone who sees it says it just has to be in that colour, it really is stunning. Face it if you saw an f3 in black or white going past you would have to look twice to convince yourself its an mv. I want everyone to know im riding an mv agusta and the red and silver does exactly that. Go for it you know its right!!! ju x

Funny. I am having a similar mini crisis with what color I want for next year. The black looks great, but the red/silver is the only color with the colored mv badges, and its CLASSIC mv colors, not to mention it looks just as good as the black, just not as...i dunno...sexy? Also, the last thing I want is for some knucklehead to mistake this bike for a ducati, which with the black or white could very well happen. At least the red/silver gives them a chance! I think im switching over to the red/silver.
