Fuel Prices.

Just seeking your inputs to get an idea of current fuel prices in your relevant places.

Here in Brunei Darussalam the RON 97 is B$ 0.53/Litre. Which is approx USD 0.42 / litre.

We joke with expats who come into Brunei for their employment, the first thing they usually ask is, how much does it give a litre or sometimes a gallon. We answer, in Brunei a litre of petrol is cheaper than a litre of water, which is priced at B$ 1.00.

I started a thread on this back in 2008. Could make for interesting comparisons.

Here in New Zealand it's about $2.20 per litre of 91 unleaded & about $2.27 per litre of 95 / 96.

That's $8.58 NZD per US gallon for 95/96 unleaded.
Convert $8.58 to NZD to USD and that's like paying $6.50 USD per gallon.

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.

Gas prices are a very sore point with us here in Canada these days. I know we're not paying anything near what you are in the UK or Europe but all things are relevant. It's not uncommon for prices to jump $0.15 -$0.25 per litre of regular (81 octane) per day. Then, inexplicably drop $0.10- $0.15 over a three day period in Ontario. Some other provinces are worse. Drives us Canuks NUTZ!
I run 94 octane in my car and this year alone I have paid as much as $1.56 and as little as $1.32 per litre. As a reference the Canadian dollar has been around par with the US dollar for several years now. Yet everything we buy costs us much more here then the same items south of the border.
Why were are upset is that with the Alberta oil sands and our off shore drilling Canada has the worlds largest amount of oil. However, our government can't seem to understand that we should be recovering and refining it here. Instead, Canada is going to pipe it to the gulf or worse, to British Columbia for transport to China.

Lucky bastards!

We pay 1,7 Euro for 1 liter Super 98 ron.
That's just 1,9 US dollar per liter/0.264 gallon.

Motorcycling is not a cheap thing to do overhere....

The price of fuel here in the UK certainly has an impact on how many miles I put on the bike. My last bike was a modified Yamaha RZV500R V4 2 stroke, it's mpg was about 20 on it's Swarbrick pipes.
