expressions of interest::carbon accessories for f3

hey all,
was wondering if their are any sites out there that have a decent selection of carbon parts?? im getting an f3 as soon as they land in aus and will be starting to make my own carbon accessory's and brackets. i use to work for a company making carbon and carbon/kevlar racing parts for a fair few of the v8 supercar teams here in aus, just trying to see whats out there atm, will just be doing it as a hobby at the moment and a way to make some extra $s, just want a rough idea on what people are paying for quality parts at the moment and will be pricing my products in the middle of what it costs me to make and retail prices others are charging. everything will be of a professional quality using the best materials. cheers

Have a look here...

http://www.carbonvani.com/en/prodott..._agusta_f3.php

and here...

http://www.mvagusta.it/common/shop/s...ssori-in-fibra

Original MV-Parts are very very expensive...

All prices you see in both links are net-prices without VAT.

Put me on the list aussie_carbon. A tail tidy would be the best start I reckon.

I am soooo sick of CF....... What is it all for?

Ducati tried it in something functional (frame) and guru couldn't ride it.

if you make a good race fairing out of carbon-kevlar I will be interested...even if I don't get the F3, I'll take a good priced set for my 848

Looking forward to you becoming a forum sponsor...
You see, what you're offering to to do is take business away from our sponsors.

Hobby? You have an autoclave in your garage?

To each his own, but even the best quality carbon fiber looses shin and yellows over time. The F3 is a beauty as is and I don't think any CF part will make it look better.

Currently - '13 Ducati Multistrada (for sale), '09 Daytona (track only)
Previously - '13 F800GS, '13 MV F3, '10 S1000RR, '04 Royal Enfield 500, '97 Yamaha RX135, '90 Yamaha RD350...and many more.

Seems as if I struck a nerve?? What im doing is the same thing I use to do a couple years ago when I was fanatical with my last bike, I'm going to be making carbon gear for my f3 when I get it, which means i'll be making moulds for lots of parts, and its a bit of a pain in the ass going to the effort of making moulds for single use. im new onto this forum and I don't mean to be stepping on anyones toes, I don't even know who the forum sponsors are?? but it is something I enjoy doing and just figured if I have the moulds anyway why not? And no I haven't got an autoclave at home but I do at work which I have access to at anytime, I don't normally use it tho, autoclaves are mostly used for pre preg carbon and temp sensitive, most of the stuff I do is vacuum infused, which has more than enough strength when it comes to fairings, huggers, heel guards, chain guards..

Aussie_carbon,
I'm not a forum sponsor & I'm not the administrator.
All I'm saying is that I don't think it's right to offer these parts for sale here especially if you're undercutting our sponsors. Click on "Discussion Forum" near the top of the page and you'll see them all listed about two thirds down the page.
You'll be running with the intention of undercutting their prices.
On principle, I don't think that it's fair that they subsidise the administrative costs to run site while you advertise your product for free.
But let me know if you think I'm wrong.

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.

As there is no one currently offering any track oriented pieces, such as case covers, I'd be interested in buying such things to keep my cash local.

Sent from a silly little so called Smart phone.
