I know there is a 2 or 3 guys who have done some serious modding on the bikes, otherwise it is which tail tidy works best?

Really would like to see some more people showing an interest, and sharing their knowledge. I am not a super huge resource either, as beside some suspension work, a bunch of bolt ons, have yet to really have to dig into the bike for problems (thankfully).
You didn't mention owners like myself who have been told to go away and not post here. It seems it's more than the factory who wish us Canadians, (specifically me) would just go away.

Thanks but over the years there have been a number of elitist type comments I felt were aimed at me. Not to mention the attacks where people have taken my words out of context like this one:

That is, some of us that DO want to ride an MV and cope best with adverse circumstances, are looking
for other owners that too are interested in some diagnostic tools
'Hacking' this thread, convincing people NOT to own an MV, isn't, to say the least, very helpful
I have reread that thread and feel I neither "hacked" it nor "tried to convince" anyone to stay away from MV. I was merely attempting to get other owners to understand that not all of us live in an area that is serviced by MV any longer.

Hi Stephen, Please do keep posting! Ignore the trolls.

I just want to test how good my memory is. Am I right that one of your first posts on this forum was when you went to take delivery of your F3, you drove a long ways to your dealer only to be told you canít take the bike and they gave you the shipping box to take home instead?

I may be thinking of someone else, forgive me if it wasnít you. Just something I remembered now. Think it was 7 years ago !

Yes that was me. But, I had been posting about the 675 F3 model and my ordering one for about eight months. Funny I can't seem to search further back then about 2014 so I can't bring up a link to that. Also, the drag and drop file option isn't working for me right now either. Oh well...

Stephen,

One thing I have seen being a Ducati owner for over 12 years and also a MV owner for 2 years, yes there are some Elitist A* on the forums, and even more on the streets. But who gives a shit about them, and their Ego's!
From the time I have been on here I have seen you post some useful information, and I respect the fact your still posting and being active even after you have had some health issues?

I know I can come across as a bit of a douche at times, but I love the world of modding bikes, riding after said mods, seeing how said mod performs and making each ride count.

The valve check itself is pretty straight foward. The actual adjustment if your valves are out of spec is the tricky "dont mess up" part.

I may be a wee bit jealous of your exhuast setup. I'd love more exhaust note but for me the whole attraction of the F3 is largely due to the 3 exhaust pipes & while the FM projects exhaust do look the part they would just cost way too much to get here in South Africa.
