New MV Agusta Superveloce 800

Just saw this on FB.

History is a reflection of time, formed by memories. But, at the same time, offers a glimpse into the future. MV Agusta has formed its roots during epic racing battles: 37 world titles, legendary victories, challenges at the limits of the impossible. Emotions that have contributed to the creation of the legend of “Meccanica Verghera”. The MV Agusta Superveloce 800 makes its debut, in concept form, at the EICMA, a precursor to the model that will be produced in the second half of 2019. Due to its very unique technical and aesthetic characteristics, the Superveloce 800 is destined to become one of the most eclectic and original models in the company's history.

Huh? You missed the boat, Andrew. There's already a 'Super Veloce 800' thread.

Not crazy about the look of the Super V, did they resurrect P Terblanche? Now those new Aprilia RS 660, BMW S1000RR and Ducati V4-R all look very nice.

Im expecting a Aprilia to release a Tuano 660 to take on KTM's 790 Duke. They might need to bump up the capacity not to be left behind though.

With all the new releases, 2019 is a good year to be a motorcyclist.

Those really look like very detailed cadcam drawings/renderings rather than photos, don't they? But it is at EICMA so must be real.

Wonder what will change when they add homolagation required stuff (mirrors, turn signals, reflectors etc).

I like the exhaust. Hope there is simple/easy provision for rear wheel change.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

There looks to be blanking plates on the side fairing, maybe the indicator/turn signal position??
I was surprised how much I liked the Superveloce in the flesh. If they keep as close to this as possible it will be very good. I heard that they have more power out of the 800 triple aswell.
