Yes i know Matt well, and when he asked Alison to price up for them it came back £1200 for the Headers and another £800 for Race ECU plus VAT.
Just a mix up but the extra cost stopped me buying it.
I will probably wait until mines out of warranty and go the aftermarket route
ive a mate racing a F3 800 in Ireland and the TT this year and hes had his ECU done already.

Hi,
I have a F3 675 my2016 (I ordered it on July 2016) and I think that it has the last version of ECU. I wasn't sure that my bike had the quickshift also in down and so I sent an email to MV Agusta. They responded me and they said that my quickshift, because it's the EAS 2.0, works also in down and they confirmed me that there is an error on manual because they describe the quickshift only in up.
Onestly I haven't tried it because my bike has only 400km and I want to wait 1000km.

EAS 1 is nothing more than a analog switch that sends the upshift command to the ECU. EAS 2 Uses different voltages to determine the up / downshift commands from the Quickshifter/ Blipper.
To achieve this the wiring/ECU Pin occupation on a EAS2 bike is different. A good and easy way to determine if your bike is 2.0 capable check the Wiring colors on your Quickshifter connector[3pin, bike side]
If you find a Violett/Black wire on Pin1 your Bike should be EAS2 Capable.
If you find a Orange/Black wire on Pin1 Your bike is EAS1.

Not enirely true RCEE, you can do the "upgrade" to get the violet cable (5V) yourself if you want to...
I'll post pictures and the procedure how to as soon as the snow is gone and test drives are possible again. If you want to do the update now feel free to send me a PM

As stated before:
If it says EAS 1.0 on the sensor you need to modify Pin1 of the quicksensor plug (wiring loom side), get a new sensor (EAS 2.0 or other bidirectional sensor) and an ECU update
if it says EAS 2.0 on your sensor all you need is the ECU update to make the blipper work.
