F3 675 Rc

Good morning from a windy UK, i'm Dips, good to meet you all. I've just purchased a 675RC from my local dealer and with a bit of luck it should arrive for a March registration.

I've come mainly from Triumph's my last two bikes were the latest 675R and the previous 675.

I just wanted to ask f3 owners what are the necessary modifications for the bike, with the Triumph i always recommended a rad guard. Just wanted to get a few bits on order.

I was considering the following.

1. Smoked led rear light cluster
2. carbon fibre exhaust cover
3. A modified louder exhaust system (what's good?)
4. Rad guard

Anything else recommended?

Thanks in advance! :0)
Merry xmas too!

Welcome to the forum Dips.
Have a look through the Performance section, there's a thread on pipes for the 3 cylinder bikes.

There is also some other options in the customizing section for other bits as well as photo's in this section as far as owners pictures go.
Good luck with the wait, it's going to feel terribly long.

Congratulations on the bike, and welcome. If I were buying a new F3 I would throw away the standard battery and put something good quality in there, and go through all wiring connectors, including the ecu, and fill them with dielectric grease.

We're all here, but we're not all there.

Welcome in dista.
I recon we must have a similar taste in two wheeled toys lol.
I went for an f3 800 after the d675r.
Unfortunately I ordered mine about 3 weeks before they launched the rc, I would have waited and ordered one of those had I known they were in the pipeline, they look the dogs dangles!

1. Rizoma make really nice LED indicators and tail tidies
2. Take your pick
3. FM projects if I was getting a new one
4. I bought R&G for the radiator and Cox for the oil cooler.
5. Steering damper Motocorse with the Ohlins unit is a must (if the RC doesnt come with it).
6. Pirelli Supercorsa SP V2s blow the Rosso Corsa away and dont need the warmers like the track compounds. Cant believe how it transformed the ride.

Thanks guys, i'm going to hang fire on an exhaust and tail tidy until i have the bike, as i understand the RC comes with 2 versions.
I've ordered an Evotech rad guard, and that's all for now. Yeah i'd read reviews that said it could do with a damper, could you please dorect me to somewhere that retails them please.

I'd seen the QD exhausts i think they look the tidiest. 800 ish all in seems resonable..

As for the tyres, had the supercorsas on the daytona found they took a while to get hot in our country and preferred the michelin pilot power three which warmed up much quicker,
Doe the F3 have tpms?
