Thumbs up Rhodes and track

.

Rhodes and track..

Some of you might know Iain Rhodes previously of Moto Forza Italia at Silverstone, well he has set up a new Independent Motorcycle business, carrying out general maintenance, tuning, track day services, suspension set up, tyre replacement, custom building all types of motorcycles, but his real passion and specialist field is in Italian motorcycles. He is also well known and respected in Aprilia circles.

Iain’s background and experience spans decades in the Italian brands were he started off at Baines Racing at Silverstone, Moto Cinelli the then UK Ducati importer and then working for Ducati UK as their warranty manager.

I’ve personally known Iain for over 10 years, when he took over the workshop control at Forza Italia and is the only engineer I would allow to work on my MV on jobs which are outside my comfortable zone.

Iain also have his own in house Dyno facility and hopes to expand this side of the business, which is handy for us guys in the Northern Home counties area.

He is based in Northampton, and below you’ll find his contact details. ( web site is running, but is in the process of being setting up).

So if you’re in the area and or just want a ride out, then why not pop in, say hello and check out his new premises.

Leave some biscuits for me!

John

JDS Iain dropped my MV at home on Monday night after a wee bit of work. He is a good chap.

For ECU & Performance work it will go back to X-Bikes but for general servicing and normal routine stuff Iain is far more local so I will happily support him.

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends ?

.................................................. ....................................

Been searching for this guy for some time since he left Forza Italia at Silverstone, where I bought my Turismo from. I've found that while his address is the same, his business and contact details have changed. It is now (at time of writing March 2019):

RPM Bikes,
Unit 9 Millbrook Close, St James Mill Business Park
Northampton
NN5

[email protected]

Mobile: 07979153900
Tel: 01604 583350

website: https://www.rpmbikes.co.uk

His website states:
The core of our business is the servicing & repairs of High Performance Motorcycles for both road and track use. We pride ourselves in the highest of standards and we put this into every project, no matter how big or small. At RPM Bikes we also offer further services to include:

Race & Trackday preparation
Full Dyno Testing and Turning
Tyre Installation & Dynamic Balancing
Paintwork & Specialist Insurance Repairs
Collection & Delivery Service available

All being well I hope to report back on quality of servicing, prices etc. in the near future.
