Rob,
Getting quite excited about sat, I should prob try a few launches b4 I go !
I figure that if I cant pull a 10 something then there is either something wrong with me or the bike !
10.5 sounds good. Cant wait to fly the flag for MV, but keeping that front wheel on the deck is going to be
a challenge for sure...But you have been to the drags on a bike b4 so ya better give me some tips
and not hold out on me so you can whip my ass..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I should be there at about 1pm
Chat soon
Matt

Mate, it's like being a little kid at the water park looking down the bigest slide from the top. But do it once, and you can't wait to get back and do it again You'll work it out real quick

How good was that!

Temp C- 24
Rel Hum - 56
Absolute Bar - 32.25

I reckon mvmatty and I had the quickest non drag modified bikes on the day for sure. We had killer top ends, compared to the Japsters.
I got in 17 runs, literally riding off the end of the track around to the start line again Recent rain scared everyone off, but it didn't rain, dry track

I could reel in any Jap bike if I got a bad start. No Jap could catch me if they got a bad start. Jap bikes, I mean litre bikes, GSR's and such. One guy on a new V Rod just beat me. Busa's and ZX1400's.........well, they need special liciences running sub 10's.

My best for the day was 10.258 @ 252.77 km/hr.

Best race was the last between mvmatt and I. Unfortunately I wheelstood and had to get off the throttle. Well, I tried, but could not catch him. Matt did a 10.26 @246.74 km/hr. I did 10.283 @ 232.19 km/hr. Matt's bike looked glorious just in front at those speeds, just glorious

Don't worry Matt, next race, revenge will be mine

That was soooo much fun. For those that were thinking about it. Come out and have a blast with Matt and I, you won't regret it

Ohh yeah
That was very much fun, and yeah the top end was fantastic, consistantly going over the line at a higher
speed than other bikes that ran a better time...
Just got to work out how to launch and use 1st gear with 2 wheels on the ground...
In all fairness Rob smoked me all day long But I got a cracker on that last one - reaction time 0.003 !

10.2 ! Happy bloody days ! Stock bike, first time on track...So when is the next one ? !

Cheers,
Matt
Oh and apart from the wicked times, we had the best looking bikes on the track....easily

Good stuff boys. I have only been to the drags once, took my old '01 R1 to a test and tune just to see what it would do. Ended up having a blast! Best time of 10.86, I think top speed was 216 kph from memory. I could not believe how much fun it was. Didn't think riding in a straight line could be so much fun.....

Yep,
Hanging on to the bike as it rocketed from stand still to around 250km/h in just over 10 seconds was shit loads
of fun !!! Makes me appreciate just how bloody faaaaaaaaast these motors are as it was still pulling like a train over the line...
Makes me grin just thinking about it
Cheers,
Matt
