ECU update to fix rolling throttle?

My F3 still has the original map on the ECU. I know that others have had it updated at the dealer to correct the surging throttle at lower rpms if left in the same position (mine also exhibits this behavior).

I started trying to pay more attention at a recent track day of how mine responded. On certain turns that I know well and I can practice trailbraking, I'll do the braking first then begin to gradually roll on the throttle. Regardless of the various positions between closed and wide open, it seems as if the throttle is always hitting the same points in between.

I guess I'm asking if anyone else has experienced similar feel with their throttle and if so do you know if I could expect the ECU update to help with this?

The latest map is said to have cleaned up low down fueling quite a bit. I'm due a service so I'll know soon.
