Concierge trackdays - what do you think?

Using the forum to get a feel if there is a market for this...

Basically, i remember being very nervous when i first started trackdays and i am thinking of setting up a side business offering concierge trackdays for individuals and small groups. If thinking of offering a few different packages that would be made up of a mix of the following:

track access
transportation of your bike (and you as an option)
assistance (or do completely) with basic track prep
arrange full track prep to any level desired through contacts i have
track bike rental
accomodation
meals
basic technical assistance (setup, tires, geometry etc)
basic coaching
arrange advanced coaching if desired
arrange advanced technical assistance if desired (suspension modification on-track with full setup support by specialist for ex)
assistance with the whole process
equipment rental

Basically, i would pick you and the bike up and assist through the whole process and make it as pleasant and stress free as possible.

It is certainly possible but what is your own skillset regarding being a track coach? Give a bit more information about yourself and motorcycle race background. If you are not already a racer/ex racer or track trainer potential clients may choose someone else.

the goal is not to be a dedicated coach, but to destress the experience for someone who wants to try trackdays.

If a coach were requested, i would arrange a dedicated coach. Same thing would be for any work required on the bike beyond basics...

insurance - of course...needed for any business over here

I guess my question is would this type of service be of interest to all the non-trackday people on the forum who have a desire to do trackdays but never did because of the hassle, nerves (ex. using your own bike) or problems around transportation...this is not an offer of service, I'm just trying to see if it is a viable idea before i go to the hassle of setting up a registered company/website/etc

To be honest, I think it would not be a financially viable business

I think what you would need to charge plus the cost of the track day would make it prohibitive to most

Plus most the people I know enjoy all the "prep and hassle"
