Thumbs up First Track Day on the MV

Gents and ladies,

Took my F3 675 on Mosport's Rider Development Track for the first time yesterday through an organized day held by the mechanic shop I take my bike to here in Toronto.

Basically took off the stock mirrors and licence plate, taped the appropriate areas, changed rad fluid to water wetter, and ran with the street tires I had on. I also had my suspension set up at the track by a tech the organizer provided.

What a blast! The bike is awesome. I'm hooked. Looks like I'll be tracking more next year, as the road riding here in Ontario is horrible compared to the experience I had yesterday. For the fee I paid I had one on one tutorial with instructors provided who are racing in various series in Ontario, lunch catered, and a safe and organized place to improve my skill set. I logged 140 kms total for the day, and had 8 sessions of 15-20 minutes.

To those forum members who are tracking or racing their bikes: I will be reading your various threads for your experiences and expertise.

To the forums moderators: if you feel this is better posted in the racing forums I understand.
