I always wanted one, ended up with a 996 a few years later. I wonder if owning one after a 996 would be a disappointement?

John I've owned one after owning a 1098 and it hasn't been a disappointment. The 1098 had more top end but otherwise I don't notice much difference. Both are rockets off the line and great handling. Also, the clutch chatter seems much louder on the 916 than it did on the 1098 which is kinda cool.
