Senna for sale on Ebay

Hey all and administrators,

I ran across this bike on Ebay and I'm curious if it was owned by one of the forum members. This bike looks amazing in the pics and is something I've longed for over the years. I'm new to the MV Agusta ownership group but may be willing to convince the wife on this one with some solid feedback.

Maybe some of you on here can give your expert opinions this gem.

The first two links are from Ebay and the third from the dealer.

Can't wait to hear some feedback.

Thanks

Nate

From a UK price perspective, the bike represents excellent value. I would want to check its history as much as possible.

Interesting pickup about the pipes. Would be interested to learn more, because there might be others like myself who are naive about subtle model and 'specials' differences.

The pipes are marked RG3 so they are the correct type "option" pipes that came with the bike, but they are the older bronze color seen on earlier F4's.
I suppose it has the RG3 chip installed as well??

I don't know if those exhaust tips are what came with the bike or not, but they are the correct type if not color. The listing says it comes with the box of goodies originally delivered. That should mean the stock exhaust, cover, grip covers, certificate, etc.

"Reserve not met". Love the Senna's....If I was a buyer I would be calling the dealer to negotiate outside eBay.

I've been around a few Senna's and none have had the Bronze pipes. Those are from an earlier year bike.

I owned one and it did not have the bronze tips. Those look like they came off an 05. Plus the body work looks a little tired. Maybe it just needs to be polished

Hi Ed,
Now, far be it for me to correct the guru without being a little unsure of myself but from memory the Senna had the 5SM ECU (in fact I think it was the first F4 to run the 5SM) which didn't use a "chip".

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.

I'm no Guru..... Wasn't sure about the ECU but you are probably correct. I know the F4 got the 5SM before the Brutales did.

Yeah, the pipe tips are not correct...but it is stamped RG3 !! So other than color they are correct.....wonder if the box of stuff includes the stock exhaust and ECM (now that Dave has updated my knowledge base...thanks)..
