I loved the Mc Nuggets meme, it is my fave, although the ear flat one is a real contender.

It was the meme for Ian, about wife killing. Very poor taste.

If in effect, everything is political....

I have a mate in Italy at the mo, and was talking with a fella who had recently been in France. They both noted that driving in those countries was a lot more hectic than in 'striya, with very loose interpretations of the road rules, generally unheard of down under.

So I had a squiz at the international stats for road tolls, and Australia, Italy, France and Canada are all at about the average for OECD, deaths per 100,000. Canada and Australia are geographically a lot bigger obviously, and once you get outside of the cities the roads in Aust are very dangerous it seems.

Shows a good spirit at least. Interestingly, none of your usual fan club got in on the act.

Perhaps they were worried that if they agreed with me about something they might become a socialist, and start finding devil woman attractive.

Speaking of devil woman, I see that her position on not giving the billionaire that owns Amazon taxpayers' money as a bribe to set up in New York turned out to be correct, Amazon are going to anyway.

Lets put this in perspective in 2018 in Australia there were 4.6 deaths per 100 000 of population. That is a mortality rate of .0046%. The last number available for death rate per 100 000 vehicles and kilometers travelled was in 2014. In 2014 the rate of mortality per 100 000 cars registered was 4.5 or .0045%. But the most relevant measure would be per kilometers travelled it was 4.8 deaths per 1billion kilometers travelled. That is a chance of dying as the result of a motor vehicle accident in 1 billion kilometres of 0.00000048%.

Anyway you cut the pie it is miniscule.

This isn't political it is financial. The various state governments in Australia collectively actually budget to receive more than 1 billion dollars annually from speeding infringement revenue. It has gone from a tool for public good to another taxation method.

You are kidding right? Trump and Trumpers claiming all the credit for that is the equivalent of me running a marathon at world record pace for the first 40-41kms then you take over for the last kay or so then claiming all the accolades and the record books. It is naive, stupid and disingenuous. It is one thing being pro any particular political party BUT it is a whole other level to be so willingly blind to the facts.

Edit Below is an update based on the recent state of the union speech.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47139500

He has merely continued an established trend. The graphs below are quoted from when Trump claimed all the glory for the jobs growth in 2017/18. hard to remember now with all the Hyperbole about every little thing he talks about.

How people continue to willingly fall for such cheap tricks and piss and wind is beyond me. Another great example would be all the people throwing money at Elon Musk (*Electric Jesus*). So many failed promises and people keep giving that clown their hard earned. Tesla has never turned a single profit. NOT once. It is burning through 1 billion dollars a month. Every time things get really close he pulls out another cheap trick to get dumb shits to throw money at it. AND THEY DO! Meanwhile the rest of the Automotive manufacturing industry quietly go about their business. They will release the goods when they are ready and tear Tesla a new arsehole. Tesla and every other BS trading name he makes up will come crashing down eventually.

Didn't Tesla burn through 3/4 CFOs in one year?

Promises Musk has not delivered after taking peoples money in the billions:
Robot taxis
Long haul semi trailers
Model 3 ( few delivered and under a very dysfunctional production line.)
Hyper loop
driverless 1 Million cars by 2019
over 1 billion dollars of investor money spent on machines to build the model 3 that are now mothballed for people to do the job.
Space X (may eventually)
Solar city

Products delivered:
Panasonic Giga farms: Partnership with Panasonic. Probably the only thing that will last.
Mode S Teslas

I call it the Twitter affect. People don't take the time to understand anything. The mere fact their feeble mind can understand what is said in one short tweet is enough for them to think they know some thing about it. We now have a whole heap of people with an ocean of knowledge that is only skin deep. Which is exactly what makes them easy pickings for fraudsters and charlatans like Musk and Trump.

Anyone who thinks the Biden Ukraine thing is anything but a corrupt attempt to stitch up Trumps biggest political rival has their head in the sand. Meanwhile Russia is expanding and China owns most of the pacific.

Thumbs up Prince Andrew screwed up big time

Look who Prince Andrew invited to Windsor Castle for Princess Beatrice's 18th birthday party in August 2006

Want to bet how pissed off Queen Elizabeth is? Prince Andrew is fucked

It came out in English papers yesterday

Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein and his pimp/procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, the cunt that was at Chelsea Clinton's wedding
