It is a biological FACT that humans are born either male or female -- It is a biological "Binary" -- There are extremely rare instances of children being born with "mixed" physical gender characteristics, usually only superficially (external organs etc.) I do not mind in the least if people want to "change" or be transsexual or not want a specific gender association, but that is a personal decision, and one that carries a price in the form of not conforming to "normal society" - Society does have an obligation to protect such choices from bigotry and persecution, but IMHO NOT an obligation to completely rewrite and rebuild society to fit in such individual choice from a VERY small minority. The whole thing reminds me of former history lessons about the decline and fall of the Roman Empire .. The elitist and perversely wealthy Roman aristocracy changed in very similar ways in the times leading up to the fall of the Roman empire..
Are we seeing the same sort of tendencies here? The Moral and ideological underpinnings of society being eroded by the ability of the extremely wealthy western world to do practically whatever we like?

Interesting discussion. Complex issues. We all know at least one person whose gender is not especially clear, and I do not mean just those who choose to be vague.

I think the instances of children born with an indeterminate gender, that requires surgical intervention and a parental decision, is more common than we realise. That would vary from country to country?

As they say oop north in Yorkshire, 'There's nought as queer as folk'. There is so much going on socially, and there are so many people; and many young people feel under siege, rightly or wrongly; and at times it seems there is not a lot of parenting going on, a fact compounded by the technololgy that the young have access to. And porn.

There are lots of cults at the moment: pets, children, animal lovers (but almost always, domestic animal lovers), all that identity stuff. In our urbanised too wealthy here but not enough there capitalist societies we find things to focus on that are easy, fashionable or controversial enough to attract the attention we so desire, and to avoid dealing with the hard issues. What qualifies as a normal society is very subjective, and so open to interpretation.

I don't think anyone other than the individuals concerned should be paying for gender change surgery without a very, very good reason, but I also don't think that IVF should be subsidised without a very, very good reason.

As long as we treat people with basic respect and decency I think these things will sort themsleves out. I know some absolute ratbags that ended up the most responsible, caring and capable individuals. Leaders.

I think it is more worrying how many young people seem to have depression or anxiety.

Not all women, or men, think that women are some sort of adornment for males. Or perhaps for balance, you could post soft core images of young men as well?]
Well said, i think its pretty demeaning for any woman who ride bikes and want to be part of the forum. I like a nice picture or a beautiful woman, but theres a time and a place for it.

I'm curious as to whether Trump supporters genuinely support Trump or are just worried about the general erosion of rights and freedoms that would progress with the democrats. I can't see anyone looking at Trump as being a great president, a worthy figurehead of the USA. I'd like to see him walk away and let someone else run for the Republicans, but I know that won't happen as much as I know he'll be in another term. I'm still not happy about how he, or his advisors, left the Kurds high and dry after working with them for so long.

Speed is relative, but fast is fast.

The last meme sums up your average Trump supporter. No way facts are penetrating that tinfoil hat they live under.

So Roger Stone makes that what? 7 of Trumps Cohorts are either in jail or about to be jailed. Draining the swamp as he promised. So who's theft, oh yeah, Rudy, he's under investigation, his children, they already have been accused and proven guilty like their crooked father for miss appropriating charity funs. Then theres Trump, the king pin of crooked dealings, draft dodging and prostitute user, along with his many failed businesses and bankruptcies. Winning.

I want a candidate which is more in the middle. I get a kick out of politicians who are worth 10s of millions says we need to tax the rich more, they are not paying their fair share. I always think, you must not own a mirror. I can go on with examples. I don't agree with the Left views and the thought that taxes cure all and will be able to give out free stuff.
