Bio-mass is a natural part of a forest, and plays a very important role in the health of a native forest, and the things that live there. I am not talking about plantations. Indigenous people managed fire in a much more sophisticated way than we do, and as I think Dave points out, the forests were much healthier then.

This constant burn policy is just a way of avoiding the issue. The increasingly frequent, early and severe fires around the world are a result of poor policy caused by an unwillingness to acknowleadge the real problems.

A brief change of subject.

I recently picked up a cheap DVD, called 'Guns of the Civil War Measure for Measure'. Although there are other countries that have had civil wars, this one is about the US.

A brief history of the conflict is interspersed with chapters about life during the war and the various long and short arms used by both sides. There are lots of images of the various wepaons, with a few of them being fired.

I found it quite interesting, if you like that sort of thing I could recommend it.

Well this criminal gang got busted for pilfering donation money, money collected for veterans. Well the head crime boss spent donation money on large portraits of himself, and on his election. WHY isn't he in jail, lock them all up with the other 6 Trump cohorts already in jail.

This story below is amusing. 4% of vote in DC. Not surprising really, the people who tend to know the most about goverment and how it works are those who do the work.

Dave can I order some memes?

How about some on the views expressed by the UK ambassador to the US (ie the most senior diplomat of America's most senior ally) on the T'Rump administration?

There must be one about the grate man not getting a nobel prize because the selection process in unfair? (Gotta admire him for being so good humoured about it all.)

Wait till they find out Trumps been stealing vets charity money, the "boos" will get louder, the chants for "lock him up" will get louder. As for "draining the swamp" 6 of Trumps co-horts are in jail, his lawyer is one of them, and his other lawyer is under investigation. "Winning on that department". But the swamp got a lot murkier once he added those charity thieves of children to his crime mob.

Dave go get a life. You have to be the most depressed person around. Your hatred for Trump and the US is unreal. Your health care is free right? Maybe you should admit yourself so they can place you on suicide watch. You are half way around the world, he is not your president. GET A LIFE.
