Best guitarplayers - your rank!

After the discussion in the Prince topic I thought to open this thread so that everyone can share his views on the best guitarplayers.

Here is my list of people that I respect for their special abilities, but are also an inspiration for me as musician.

John Petrucci
Guitarist in Dream Theater
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mcG0dpBz7tc

Special for the Prince admirers he did also Purple Rain. A long time ago
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ9WB4l-yWU

Paul Gilbert
Guitarist in Race X and Mr Big
Guess why this is called Technical Difficulties
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rn-wj4pRpIE

Brian Carroll aka Buckethead
Played a while in Guns and Roses I found out recently...
Seems that he was a student of Paul Gilbert. What a coincidence...
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qFoBbNHvOME

Marty Friedman
Played In Megadeth.

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Dave Gilmour tops the list for me,
Gary Moore next,
Eric Clapton a close third.
All so much better seeing them play live.
Angus Young must also get a special mention.

I'm a "Guitar music freak" and love all types of rock/blues.

Went to see Noel Gallagher and his high flying birds in Amsterdam last week and he was bloody brilliant.

Dave.

Exactly and that is with everyone different. And interesting to learn about.
