MV at #13 in Philip Island SBK test..

..and some 3 seconds off the pace.. still room for improvement but also true for others. But why is the lap times so varied between the top and bottom rider.. about 10 seconds or more.. interesting to see the panigale making strong start with 0.5 seconds off the leader and in top 5.

WSS and WSBK Day 1 Practice times.

It's started, thank goodness.
At least one F3 is near the top. Poor Robbie Rolfo, he must be missing the F3.

I see the two EBR's are there, although waaay back, hope they get themselves sorted, would be great to see them further up the timing charts by mid-season.

Ahh u got it.. Crash.net.. my favourite website these days after mvagusta.net of course.

Second session MV improved and cut the gap to 2.3secs.. i'm impressed. Panigale is a close second.. More impressive is that the lap time by Laverty is identical to the lap time recorded by Stoner in 2012 on a motogp proto bike..

The big difference for this season is that the championship now runs in "two speeds". Let me explain...

There are two categories in one class:
One with bikes from the old wsbk class (of course with more restrictive rules but more or less same - very powerfull with motogp electronics bikes).
And the other one the EVO class as it's called which bikes that are more or less superstock bikes (superstock engine with superstock rule ecu, even the data acquisition systems are really limited with factorys like 2d and aim forced to manufacture special packages for this new category) but with expensive suspensions that are available from purchase from Ohlins for example and not special "works" products.

Same like what happened with CRT class in MotoGp
