Guys,Ayrton's MV was first after second start.
But at two laps to the finish Michele Pirro (yamaha) in the attempt to surpass he felt down and involved Ayrton also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit, heard it on Eurosport... Ayrton was very fast and had the chance to win the race...
Good success for Ducati. First win with the 1098

Red cheers
Manuel

Watched it, it was a shame. Earlier before the restart 2 other MVs went down. In both cases it looked like they were taken out. The commentators actually joked that they thought it might be a conspiracy against MV. I think they all made the restart though. It was good to see the MVs out there but not so good for them to be taken out.

wsb @ donny

hi everyone, ive just returned from a dry but bitterly cold windy day at todays wsb at donny. the atmoshere was very poor but id put thaty down to the weather more than anything , so heres a quick report on the superstox race . the race began poor for badovini but another mv rider german leonardo leuthe was up in about sixth place and doin ok till he highsided right in front of me at the foggy esses spilling fluid and leaving dirt ans debris inthe track causing a red flag situation . he managed to restart but retired after 2 laps , however inthe restart badovini was right upthere giving us mv maniacs something to cheer about ! he had a battle at the front with 3 other riders and was just in front till two laps from the end when he was taken out by his closest rival at the melbourne loop!!! disaster!!! , however it does bode well for the rest of the season, the mvs sounded ace and was definatley hooking up outta foggys ,after the racing i wentintothe paddock but alas the mvs were already packed away!! but i took the pic of the mv.net sticker especially for pigiolino!! im hoping to see the superstox again at the brandshatch round andhopefully the weather will be much warmer!!!

I watched it on TV even though I am barely 90 mile away interesting that even when the GSXR tucked into the slipstream behind Badovini's MV. the MV still pullled away down the straight--well impressive

(This reply has not been checked for punctuation, grammar, or spelling mistakes and is devoid of any big long cleverwords or condescending manner)

MV's all gone now, still have a soft spot for MV's, waiting for MV to tick all my boxes again.
Previously (and about 40 others)748SP, S4, S4R, 98R1, 2000 F4, F41000S, F41000R, 08R1, 09R1, S1000RR, RSV4 Factory aPRC in Garage now

That is some CRAZY racing in World Superstock. Exciting stuff. Those guys are nuts, buts what's with all that weaving back and forth before the start? Don't they read Roadracing World? hahahaha

Too bad for Badovini. He had a good shot at the podium. I think if Pirro hadn't crashed he would have taken the top spot. He was fast on that new Yammie R1.

But damn if the MV isn't smoking fast! I couldn't believe how quick it gets out of the corners and down the straights. Nobody could keep up with Badovini there. It needs some help on the brakes and mid corner. However, there is no problem at all in the power department!
