Fast By Ferracci Matt Lynn accident

Well you can read it here:

Roadracing World

Or read it here:

From: Roadracing World

Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin crashed in turn 11, the fast left at the end of the back straightaway, and Fast By Ferracci MV Agusta’s Matt Lynn had a big get-off coming over the blind right-hand crest at turn three.

According to several riders, Lynn would have hit the same Armco barrier that Roger Hayden slid into and broke his leg last year if the barrier had not been moved during the off-season. Spies said he thinks the barrier is still too close, however.

Matt is Ok, he ended up losing part of his right pinky finger, he called me from the hauler before they went to the ER, then again after the Doc. had looked at it, seems it is gone from the last joint to the tip...so it will just be out of the way..so he said.

He is staying over in Birmingham tonight, and will drive himself home tomorrow, he is not to happy, but will be here sometime to tell you alll what happened.

It was in 3 as you come over the crest of the hill...

I am just glad he is ok. and says he will be ready to ride for the Barber round, alittle lighter.

Before the crash he was doing a race distance test and had been clicking some consistant times..so it seems testing is producing results.
Now if we could do something about that pesky gravity.

I'm glad you are okay, but it sounds pretty painful. A lot of props for keeping your spirits up through all of it. Heal up and we hope to see a great performance

Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Bone pain SUCKS. I guess every new set of gloves for him will have to be nipped and sewn a bit in the pinky finger so that they won't flap around now. Weird thought, I know.
