Well I hope so, that'll teach all the miserable gits who moved to the area and then moaned about the noise. It's also damaging to the local economy as well the B&B's, shops, pubs and restaurants that would have catered to the track day'ers.

I thought the issue was the current lease holders ignored agreements in place for a number of years and held events that pi**ed off the neighbours. Instead of doing what they could to pacify the locals, they continued with the events (evening car drifting sessions seeming to be the one creating most hate) chasing a quick buck.

When the locals had enough and went to court, the leaseholders come over all "waily-waily, they're trying to take away our livelihood" ......

In a previous article, the circuit owners said they would do all they could to keep motorsport at the venue. Hopefully a change of management can see some new agreements in place and some sort of service resumed ......

I've no idea what cost are involved in owning and running a race circuit but it can't help with the restrictions forced on them regarding race and track days?

if you move near a race track , airport ETC the reason you do it is because of cheaper rent or cheaper houses (or you just like all types of racing)
so why complain about the noise /traffic ECT

Maybe you've hit the nail on the head, buy a cheaper house, because it's next to a track, complain and get the track shut down, hey presto your house is worth 20% more

Thumbs down fucktards

it happens here all the time;
air ports
race tracks
gun ranges
stables
dairies
boat yards

you name it

even trees.......yuppie assholes move into a neighborhood with 120 year old, 150' trees then complain the trees are blocking their view and want the trees removed

hey fucktards when you looked at the house and it had no view you still bought it, right ......so everyone else is supposed to cut their trees to accommodate just you?
