I see your point but, top riders wont risk careers on a privateer team, which has not yet a proven background, questionable resources, and an unfavoured bike.
I say that with full respect to the BSB team. But a factory team it is not, and when MV were actually directly involved in WSB they still had development issues, so BSB cant be any better.

Also remember MV has dropped the F4, so why spend lots of cash at WSB level, when world and domestic championships have the F3 in, and produce better results?

I love my F4, but winning at WSB and even BSB takes cash and development, having one of those is no good you need both. I think the best thing would be if it was possible to get a 2nd rider / bike. I understand the cost and parts issues, but for me this was MV's mistake at WSB level.

Also MV AGUSTA has unique situation . because MV is an Iconic racing brand , riders know they will get much more Moto Press and the back story of the David VS Goliath small Italian factory VS the Japanese mega factory angle . When MV AGUSTA was first looking for rider In WSBK , Camier , Lowes ,Laverty and 2 more known riders(im old forget names LOL) all wanted the MV ride. ALL said the F4RC was a great handling bike which really surprised me as chassis engineers had written off the Steel trellis chassis saying modern Superbikes made too much Horsepower for a Steel trellis chassis .. MV AGUSTA made liars out of the chassis engineers . The MV F4RC ended up having a handing ADVANTAGE over the field. Again I was shocked for Ducati had just said the steel trellis chassis couldn't handle modern Superbike horsepower and this is why they changed from there traditional steel trellis chassis on the 1198 and went to the MONOQUE chassis on the 1199. Unfortunatly for Ducati there MONOQUE chassis never did get sorted out till this day on there new Panagale V4 1000R

BIG crash for Ellison in the first Sunday race, hope he's ok. Anyone know what actually happened? Was a strange place to crash. Hopefully the bike was not too badly damaged. In fairness I was pleasantly surprised by how well he was running during the weekend.

Based on how well both Gino and James have run on this bike I think the bike is looking like it has great potential in this series.

According to Ellison, he was circulating at about 120mph and ran into the back of someone going 40mph staring down at their dash. He says there isn't much left of the bike besides the engine.

There was a lot of incidents similar to that at Oulton, Irwin ran into the back of a touring Iddon, Hickman and Linfoot crashed on Irwins oil after he wrongly remounted after a crash and now this.....

Interesting article in this week's Motorcycle News (UK) suggesting that Kent should be given a second chance in much the same manner as was Romano Fenati.

Thatís a fair point, I think if Danny ate a little humble pie and knuckled down with a team it might work. You donít win a moto3 world title with no talent.......
