Casey Stoner film

A nice film about Casey Stoner. One of my favorite riders.
The film also gives some background of the Moto GP world and what happens in Spain, through the racing life of Casey.

Maybe the biggest natural talent of all time? Quite a few people (with heavy and long experience) over here and in Italy believe so.

The link directs to the Spanish locale of Red Bull TV (English audio & subtitles when required) but I assume you can access the movie automatically redirected to your location. The name in case you need to search is:

"The Age of 27

The Casey Stoner Story"

I'm actually waiting for the Cal Crutchlow story. Might be a short film. I think he's only finished three races

Jake the Stoner-Spencer story is not included. But have a look at the film. It is decent.
What do you think about Stoner riding style?

By the way like you I believe a certain 93 is the biggest talent And at least equal to Stoner as a natural, raw talent.
But how one makes the distinction? So many different parameters and circumnstances. Isn't it futile and unimportant in the end?
jdgun likes this.

Hello all , Nesca Casey Stoner is definatly a gifted rider. Its obvious being he rode around the problems of the Carbon Chassis Ducati all those years . All I had read about his style is that it is like Rossis . Some say he was a bit faster than Rossi some say a bit slower. The reports of Stoner being a snob are untrue. He wrote article for Sport Rider about when he was given the Honor of riding/testing the Championship winning bikes at Honda. Wayne Gardner was also there Stoner goes on to say he is riding 10/10ths trying to be impressive when another rider just blew him away . He said he is the fastest rider I have ever seen. He defies physics and as hard as I try I just cant keep up with him(Lap time wise=Article said both riding V-5) . Garner turned to him and said.... Don't feel bad kid I could NEVER catch him my whole career .. That's Freddie Spencer . (who was making another ill fated comeback as he couldn't stay off the booze=Huge loss to MotoGP) Point is that if Stoner was an egotist he wouldn't have another rider as his idol.AND if he was spoiled brat ect he wouldn't put up with riding around a bikes problems . IMHO seemed like a good kid who got married, wife wanted kids and didn't want her husband getting hurt .WE HAVE ALL HEARD THAT STORY BEFORE LOL.

FYI NO RIDER COULD BEAT FREDDIE SPENCERS TIMES AT HONDA ...EVEN ON NEW(ER) MOTOGP BIKES UNTIL.... MARC MARQUEZ . THE ONLY OTHER RIDER TO USE SPENCERS STYLE (AT HONDA=ROBERTS SR USED SAME STYLE BUT NEVER RODE ANY OTHER BRAND BESIDES YAMAHA)
