Marquez makes shocking public statement

In an Interview with GPONE at Mugello Marquez states ...The Honda RCV213V has Improved but the Ducati is still better and it is 5 KPH faster down the back strait... With the rumors of Marc Marquez going to Ducati. Honda stating marquez leaving..sometime in the near future..his brother Alex rumored to be going to PRAMAC DUCATI next year. And now this , which to the Japanese is close to treason lol. I can see Italy already promising Marquez a small City will be named after him if he wins a Championship on the Ducati LOL

Whoa! When Honda loses MM, there is no one who could put the bike consistently on the podium. There could be a flash in the pan appearance from Crutchlow or Nakagima, but no one has the brute bollocks and talent to wrestle the thing around most circuits.

I rally can't wait for contract discussions to be formalised.

Man oh man, if MM leaves Honda who do they honestly have? NO ONE barring a miracle transformation from Lorenzo, if he even manages to stay with Honda.
would make for some serious boring racing, or a Ducati Cup Series.

look, id like to see Mark leave Honda. So then we can really see if he's just as good on another manufacturer bike.
But either Honda are spastics or just spastics lol.
Why if u can feel that ur greatest rider is going to leave why don't u throw him stupid money, like really stupid money for him to stay

If he was to change manufacturers at this stage of his career it probably wouldn't be about money, so big money is unlikely to keep him there.

The only reason I can see Marquez changing rides is to prove that he is capable of winning on another brand, something that hasn't worked out so well for Lorenzo!!

If he truly wanted to prove how good he was he could jump onboard with KTM, bit of a stretch but not as ridiculous as it would have seemed 12 months ago.

Remember the really stupid money Ferrari offered Michael Schumacher?

And that was just to get him there!

If Honda lose him to Ducati. Look out Yamaha because you won't have Quarto for long!
