*SPOILERS* MotoGP/2/3 COTA

Marquez and Vinales way ahead in free practice 1.

And Aegerter in moto2 on P7 for 40 minutes and red flag happened with 3 minutes left on the clock. After it went green again everyone had 1 lap left and P11 in free practice 1. WOW. Thats a improvement compared to the other two weekends.
Curious if he can keep this up.
Manzi isnt racing this weekend and some Italian kid took his place... 7 seconds slower than P1. OOF

COTA looks to be bumpier than ever.

Yup saw it happening, kid on the dark blue bike was lucky not to get whiped down aswell.

Seriously though, this is unacceptable. Flat out dangerous situations with these motorcycles.

That 2nd corner will be interesting if it is a wet race as they are predicting.

Looking at the rider feedback I would be surprised if Circuit of the Americas kept Moto GP for long....

Indianapolis was not willing to pay the money wanted by the FIM so it will be interesting to see if that is the case with COTA, plus the attendance was going down every year.

I hope so to, but this COTA track is bloody dangerous, i just hope theres no serious injuries. In this day and age to produce such a poor quality track for MOTO GP is mind boggling. Bumps caused from other forms of racing seem to indicate this track has been poorly designed or poorly built for the sub structure. Last year it was dangerous to get off line on the track due to grinding dust from trying to remove or minimise the bumps. This year the bumps seem worse, and bumps down the main straight-from what caused those?

The circuit is build on a clay base. The topography changes over time creating these wavy undulations.

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.
