MV Agusta 'releases' Torres

Seems MV and Torres have parted company they say due to the MotoGP ride Torres has and the time differences.

Anyone heard who might take the MV seat for the remaining races?

To be completely honest I believe MV knows they arent fighting for serious points and place in WSBK anymore and will probably drop WSBK at the end of this year. They are even behind Lorez Baz and BMW often this year. 2 weekends to go and they're last on constructors championship, 17 points behind BMW.
So why make things complicated for Torres? Maybe this is his moment to enter MotoGP(havent been busy with contracts)

Quick google search didnt gave a replacement name.

"Mileena"

Torres never came to terms with the F4. His MotoGP career looks pretty bleak too.

He's on the biggest turd of the grid and still beat a few peeps this last time out. Respectable I'd say but slim chance of landing a good ride at this point.

Torres did just fine for a new guy on a old design bike, not a turd by far @JeeryJoose, that's what we call Aprilia's and Honda's in WSBK.
MV has some big news in the pipeline, just a few weeks, I'm excited.

I was referring to the Avintia Ducati GP16, not the F4

Hello all, long time no see . Thanks for the help Dons. Dons... I see your new project bike and its says 1078. How are you going to race when your over displacement ? Or is it actually a 998cc engine?

Swissn I missed you couldn't get on the site and health . Bought a new F4RR and worked it up to F4RC spec LOVE the bike favorite bike in my Superbike collection. Also Bought a new 2016 Kawasaki H2 . Fun bike, incredible acceleration and comfortable for a Sportbike God everyday rider and 2nd bike For MV owners. ANYHOW Torres has speed but only 1 at a time he cant string them together. And being a class clown and young he needs someone to set bike up for him . The MV F4RC and the Yamaha R1 ended up being a toss up for the next best Superbike behind the Kawasaki ZX10RR and the Ducati 1199 Panagale. Mv race engineers did miracles for starting with 18 year old engine design and a steel trellis chassis. Before MV started in WSBK I thought they could pull off a 6th in a race with a lot of DNFs and 10th because of the Steel trellis chassis making the bike hit a wall development wise . BUT the MV F4 RC ended up being the best handling WSBK ( Motocourse and WSBK review issues 2015/2016 and 2016/2017) AND trap speeds within 3-4 mph of theZX10RR and 1199 Panigale The R1 being next best handling Superbike. Point is 4th-5th place is a win when you have a Superbike that has an 18 year old engine design and steel trellis chassis . MV race engineers did a hell of a job . PS You know who else was said to be lousey at set up? ....Freddie Spencer This makes sense as Spencer did very little practice or qualifying laps then he would hide in his trailer. Tuner Erv kanemoto set up Spencers bike from Spencers team mates.
