Dont think so, Suzuki really wants MIR that is currently riding Moto2.

As much as I like Dani, and despite the fact he has consistently finished top 5 for the seasons over his career, I think he's done and dusted. He can offer experience, but he can't offer consistent results in the way that some of the 'up and comers' can.

However, Moto GP and WSB are full of surprises - as evidenced by the Lorenzo signing.

I think you could be right Nigel.. Rumour has it he's going to announce his retirement at the Spanish gp and become a brand ambassador and test rider..

He's had a fair crack of the whip over the years to win a world championship ( and came close in 2006, when he lost to his team mate "The Kentucky Kid") and I can't think of another rider who's had a works factory ride for so long without winning a single series title.
