Great vid Arcimboldo.
Holly S**T.. Richmond !!!.. That's less than 25 miles from me.. I wonder if he drinks beer or is partial to the odd Nando's.

I might get lucky and bump into him if I start hanging round the pubs in Richmond and Nando restaurants

Must be a massive culture shock coming from Shreveport to Richmond. We don't exactly have long summers over here.. Jimbo, please give me a shout nearer the time of this Castle Coombe event and if I'm not doing anything when its on, I'll pop down for a meet up.

Sound like a Plan.

JDS,
Promise to keep you informed as and when I hear news.

As previously mentioned I saw Freedie at Castle Coombe in 2017 at the Hailwood Tribute Day, many well known riders including Guy Martin on the 250/6. I managed to get a few good shots, here is one of Freedie returning to the assembly area after a "parade lap".

Cool

.
Jimbo

I can't believe they let Guy Martin ride the Honda RC166

I don't know if you get Classic Racer magazine, but last month they had a feature on the RC166 and a Youtube link to this amazing Japanese documentary.

It's a shame its all in Japanese and I can't find a way of translating the video, but nevertheless, it's still an amazing vid.

When you've got a couple of hours free, make yourself a large mug of tea, have a packet of digestive biscuits to hand, take the phone off the hook and check out this link.

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE !!!

There appears to be some major Honda big wigs and engineers at this venue, and check out the crowds reaction when they dismantle certain parts of the engine.. I just wish I could translate what they are saying.

Check out the RC166 Camshaft set up.. Have you ever seen a set-up like that!!!!.. Amazing.
