Just goes to show how close to the edge these guys are running. Davies and Rea were both looking very smooth and comfortable, then it all turned to crap again for Davies.
Is it just my taste or do the Ducatis since the 1098 look like they have been hit with an ugly stick?

Way to go PJ Jacobsen, another pole position and first first podium for MV! Seemed like he was riding intelligently, not taking chances in tricky conditions.
And Rolfo finished 6th!
They were saying they had trouble finding a good bike setup for Camier this weekend.
A truly great victory by Davies, bouncing back after a nasty crash and against such a tough rival, too!

Anyone hear any MV riders' comments after the race?

PJ was getting pushed back at the start by some pretty aggressive moves. I am glad he kept out of the those tight battles and settled into the race. PJ said after the race he had not feeling from the front so he didn't feel comfortable pushing much more.

What was Camier's technical problem to start the weekend? Oil leak again?

It was nice to see Rea talk so highly of Chaz after the race. I agree about the Ducati's being ugly. That dual exhaust they run is horrid! PJ looked great, though I agree he was riding rather conservatively to ensure the podium.

Tough races to watch with the wind blowing the cameras around.

Rea has his hands full this year with Chas and Ducati.
PJ did well enough. Hopefully he can build on it.
