Good news for Triumph (hopefully they release a Daytona 800).

Pitty about MVs finacial situation. They could have been 1st choice if they had the funds to execute.

Great news , instead of being looked at/compared to WSBK 600 Super sport, now it makes moto2 stand out more as its own class . Donseys thread stated 750cc displacement , but I read in? Asphalt and rubber or Motomatters the triumph triple was to be an odd displacement of 867cc or 875cc (it was 800+) Smart move , makes moto2 faster than 600cc which is dying anyway classic old time marque back on world stage , triumph will treat it as priority instead of sidebar like Honda does and will even sound better IMHO. I am curious why they didn't revamp class even more and go with there exsisting 1050cc triple . It wouldn't be as fast/compete with WSBK class but cheaper for triumph and 1000+ cc seems to be the popular displacement these days. In any case great idea. thanks for the info dons.
