F3 wins Italian Supersport Championship

For the second year in a row, Massimo Roccoli and Team Laguna Moto Racing Mv Agusta have taken the Supersport title in the highly competitive Campionato Italiano Velocita (CIV)

The final racing weekend of the championship was held October 8-9 at Mugello. Saturday's race saw Roccoli take 2nd place in torrential downpour, enough to crown him champion. The Sunday round was another outstanding day for Mv, with Roccoli once again finishing second, while the other two Mvs racing took 3rd and 4th.

Final points standings for MV riders.
1. Massimo Roccoli, points 172
5. Ilario Dionisi, 107
8. Davide Stirpe, 73

In constructors, Mv finished a close second to a horde of green bikes.
1. Kawasaki, points 210
2. Mv Agusta, points 207

In the superbike category (no MVs currently competing), the titles went to Matteo Baiocco and Ducati...

Thanks mate, that's great to see.
I've been watching and following what I can on Facebook, but I know no Italian so it's a bit hard to follow.
Go MV.....go F3....!!!!!!

Thanks Red, love to hear MV racing news. Especially when they win lol. I would buy a F3 800 but I am too big for the bike(6ft4 270lbs) I have worked ( mild) Aprilia RSV4 love the bike but it too is too small so I rarely ride it .

The F3 675 and F3 800 showed the Motorcycle media that MV can build an all new design, high tech Superbike every bit as good as the Japanese or other European manufacturers .

We got the whole series on one of the UK channels last year but this year nothing. It made for good watching - there are heaps of MVs in the series. Unsurprisingly.
