REAs mystery gremlin?

To all mechanics, engineers on the site. HOW can Rea have a transmission problem for going on 2 months that has not been fixed on his 2016 Kawasaki ZX10R .YET, Tom Sykes mechanics either fixed the problem on the first try (between races back before Laguna seca=I did not hear nor see the problem on Sykes bike at all?)
or it never occurred on Sykes bike at all ( Sykes said he had problem but was just a better rider dealt with it and won race...sounded like bolstering his talent to me )

Point is ..how can Sykes have a well running bike , no transmission problem and the Current Champion and points leader Rea has a transmission problem than cannot be found /fixed WHEN REA AND SYKES ARE ON THE SAME BIKE AND THE SAME TEAM???

iTS almost as if Kawasaki wants Sykes to win and leaving Rea to fend for himself???
But that is just too crazy an idea to put up as a consideration .

IIRC they has to select their gear ratio at the beginning of the year and can't change them per the WSBK rules. Could be the one what Rea selected has some inherent problem. Just a thought.

Could be that Rea has a pussy foot and blames the bike...
