Never a good one to crash at - very high speeds.

Good wishes for a good guy.

Yes he sure is tough John.....here is the latest report along with some footage of the crash which has been broadcast here on the local news....http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/other-...iously-7965326

His team of other riders including ex moto2 rider Danny Webb and veteran Motogp rider Jeremy McWilliams will ride tomorrow.

Been through all of this before with Robert Dunlop being killed on the Thursday night of 2008 (his son Michael racing and winning on the Saturday) of the NW200 ...see the film "Road".

I really hope Ryan is going to be OK as it is very difficult for his wife and two young daughters..

Yep...! Joey!!!.........what a rider!
An absolute legend

Brian.

Well I had a bittersweet days racing at the NW 200 today.......the racing was absolutely fantastic and the weather was like the Caribbean!

However tragedy struck as a bright young future star (Malachi-Mitchell Thomas) aged just 20 was killed on the third lap of four in the Supertwins (650) race.

He died at the scene despite the MCUI Medical team working frantically to save him.

He was at the race with his Dad..

May God grant his soul eternal rest.

The final two races of the meeting were abanded.

Ryan Farquhar remains seriously I'll....

That's tragic news, so young too. Condolences to family and friends

I hope Ryan makes a full recovery from his injuries. It's amazing how racers tend work so hard to get back on a bike after an accident like that. Must be tough on the immediate family after such an incident but once a racer always a racer.
