Special shout out "Pre Race for Gino Rea,qualifing on the front row in WSS
great rider who has had a tough time with teams in the past.
Also Camier is well down on speed with that slow engine.
To be honest hoping for wet races

Yes, big congratulations to Nicky, always such a great guy and never stops trying! You could see how emotional he was to win again after all these years....that's Sbk

That track though...no motorcycle track - but some drag strips linked up by a handful of curves....thankfully the rain made it interesting. Those Pirelli wets are really something- no crashes, seemed like everyone had a lot of feeling... As the slogan goes: 'Power is nothing without control'....

Congrats of course to Gino Rea, too!

Luckily Cluzel worked his way up, could have been way worse with his gearbox issues...

By the way, announcers here were talking about Cluzel's leg/ankle. Still by no means recovered from last year's brutal crash. They said it's swollen up, like a huge ball coming out of his ankle..but he just acts like it's fine...

Also, reading an interview with the semi-new Reparto Corse, they were saying that their F3 bike needs a lot of development as the rule changes have forced them to throw away all the electronics they worked so hard on over the last few years. From a myriad of settings and strategies the system has been reduced to two settings: full grip and one for reduced grip. No more traction control, and as I understand it no more quick-shifter.

So all the stuff they put on the road bike - you gotta take it off if you're in PRODUCTION RACING'....

Does anyone know when the next Sbk tests will be? The reparto guys were saying they could really use some testing time...

Nice one Nicky! I know that felt good for the old boy! He contained himself well and acted the utmost professional. I can't remember the last time I heard the American National Anthem at a WSBK podium ceremony... Must have been Spies?

Good one for Rea too, lots of MV Agustas on the podium in WSS this year so far

What we've got here, is failure to communicate.

Hmmm, no crashes? Then, what happened to Lowes?
